The pillowcase consists of 3 layers. The top layer is 100% cotton. I used an iron-on fleece batting in the center and 100% cotton on the back. Machine wash cold and gentle mild soap. Do not bleach. I recommend using a laundry bag in the wash to protect the pillowcase. Must remove the insert before washing. Insert purchased from JoAnn’s Fabric.
